Garnet 4 Strand Bracelet

Measure and cut 4 x 20cm lengths (approx. 8”) of the Illusion cord, this includes extra for finishing.
On one end of the length of cord thread on a necklace end (about 1cm from the end) so that the hook is facing up towards the end of the cord.
Next thread a crimp bead on close to the end. Squeeze the crimp tight with the flat nose pliers so it is unable to move. You can cut off the excess cord after the crimp, or you may want to knot it or use some glue to make it more secure. Trim off the excess cord. Take the necklace end up to the crimp. Close the two rounded halves around the crimp. You can either use your fingers to do this or some pliers.
Now thread on 8 of the garnet then a gold spacer. Repeat this 4 more times and then finish with another 8 garnet beads. Complete as above with the necklace end and crimp.
Make another 3 strings of beads in the same way as the first one.
When you have all 4 stings, you are ready to attach the strings to the clasp. If you undo the clasp on one side you will see there is a solid bar with a ball at the bottom and the other side is split in the centre with a ball at the top. You will now need to attach one end of the strings to the section of clasp with the ball at the bottom and attach the other ends to the clasp section with the ball at the top. Do this by closing the hook around the loop on the clasp end making sure it is securely closed by using the pliers.
