A Touch of Summer Floral Necklace

Lets make it!

To make the centre strand measure and cut 33cm (13") of illusion cord. This includes a couple of extra inches for finishing. To stop the beads from falling off either tie a knot or squash a crimp bead at the very end of one end of the thread. Then thread 70 of the green beads and finish with a knot or a crimp bead at the very end of the cord.
To make the pink bead chain take an eyepin and slide on one of the pink beads. Cut the wire approx 3/8" (5mm) from the top of the bead and make a loop, but before closing the loop completely add an eyepin. Continue until you have linked together all 14 pink beads. Make a loop on the last eyepin.
Take the headpins and cut the head off each one and make one loop on each. Slide one green bead, one floral bead and another green bead onto a pin and form a loop, but as before add a pin before completely closing the loop. Continue until you have linked all 10 of the floral beads. Make a loop on the last pin.
Open a small jump ring and put the loop on from one end of the pink bead chain and add that to one of the large jump rings and then close. Repeat for the other side. Do the same for the floral chain.
Take the end of the green string and remove the knot or crimp bead and thread the cord through a wire guardian. Hook the wire guardian over the large jump ring in between the two beaded chains and then feed the cord through the crimp bead. Pull about an inch of the cord through the crimp bead and using the flat nose pliers squash the crimp bead. Feed the cord back through a couple of the adjacent beads and then cut of the remainder. Repeat the process for the other side.
Cut two 14cm (5½") lengths of SP chain. Open a small jump ring and add a link from one end of the chain. Attach that to the top of large jump ring and close. Repeat for the other side.
To add the clasp attach a jump ring to each end of the chain and the loops on each side of the clasp.
